CONVENIENT JUMPER STAMPED WITH THE STAMP. OF LEONARD BOUDIN (Master in 1761) In veneer marquetry with panels decorated with floral vase motifs and covered pots on the front and sides. With a slight central projection on the front, opening with two drawers without taverse.with rounded uprights, resting on curved legs. gilded and chiselled bronze trim. top of Breche d'Alep marble, restored posterior marble. Bearing the "BOUDIN" stamp. Use and maintenance restorations. 18th century period. H: 87 x W: 110 x D: 49 cm Léonard Boudin (1735-1804), a Parisian cabinetmaker who became Master in 1761. He set up his workshop in rue Traversiére where he received orders from many renowned merchants and quickly acquired a great reputation. He is especially known for his very varied marquetries, worked with finesse and perfection. Boudin has left furniture in the Louis XV, Transition and Louis XVI styles, which are still of excellent workmanship and which define by their veneers and marquetry, particular and characteristic signs "à la manière Boudin".
