SET OF TWO LOUIS XVI BERGÈRES With rounded backs, full sides, carved with gadroons and flowers, resting on four tapered feet In lacquered wood with a recent tapestry One stamped by L.M.PLUVINET, received Master in 1775 Eighteenth century period H : 96; W : 66; D : 68 cm Restorations of use and maintenance Louis Magdelaine Pluvinet, received Master on April 19, 1775, died around 1785, probably the son of Philippe Pluvinet. He opened, like the latter, a workshop in the rue de Cléry, where he made Louis XVI chairs of good quality and classical types: sofas of various shapes, bergères, armchairs decorated with the usual decorative motifs of the neoclassical repertoire.
