The famous journalist and TV news presenter of the 60s and 80s was also a car enthusiast: in fact, he appeared on the front cover of the August 1962 issue of télé 7 jours driving one of his cars.

I had the pleasure of getting to know this charming, cultured man who divided his time between Paris and his home region of the Tarn; some fifteen years ago, he entrusted me with the sale of his Ferrari 250 and his magnificent Mercedes cabriolet, then I dispersed the collection of his son, to whom he had passed on his taste, especially the de Tomaso set, of which he was the importer for France, and most recently his Alfa Romeo cabriolet, as his beloved dog couldn't stand this car!

His heirs have now entrusted me with the rest of his eclectic collection, ranging from a magnificent, gleaming Rolls-Royce Seraph to a Fiat 500, a Willys jeep and a 1927 Renault, all of which, as always, he did with no reserve price, leaving me completely free to make my own decisions.

A thought for this true gentleman in the spirit of the 18th century.
