From the famous fleet of Christopher Columbus: Pinta and Santa-Maria, to the Soleil-Royal, a three-decker from the navy of Louis XIV, and the Superbe, also from the same navy, of which there are only two in the world, this one and the other on display at the Musée des souvenirs de l'Elysée.
School boats from all over the world: The Amérigo Vespucci (Italy), Chinese Jonques, warships like the Victory (England) and liners like the France II.
Collection from Mauritius, where model shipbuilding is an ancestral specialty, made mainly of exotic woods (teak, mahogany, mercanti), brass and rope.
A large number of countries are represented, and the major milestones in the history of sailing, steam and motorboats are retraced: from the discovery of America to the June '44 landings, via the imposing fleet of warships of Louis XIV, the fantastic epic of the Bounty Revolt, the Battle of Traflagar with Nelson and Napoleon, and the triangular trade of the slave-trading Bricks.
