In 1989, at Galerie Garig BASMADJIAN, he met Mikhail BRUSSILOVSKY. It was both an aesthetic and emotional shock to see his work, and he acquired two paintings and a sculpture of his partner Valentina BRUSSILOVSKY. This event became a kind of catalyst for LIU-PARK. This relationship encouraged him in his desire to paint.
In 1992, he befriended the visual artist Henri ENU.
In 1993, he exhibited in Parisian art shows. His paintings and sculptures are much appreciated. His work became an increasingly important part of his life, and now stands alongside the works of great masters.
He began to make wrought-iron furniture, as well as several Brutalist sculptures, and his work was much appreciated by decorators.
He exhibited several times with his close friends Didier JOUVIN, Henri ENU, Gilles NAJA and KAPLAN.
In 1995, he began to grow in notoriety and to receive commissions from private individuals and decorators.
That same year, he met Jean-Marie CUSINBERCHE and Georges MATHIEU.
In 1996, while exhibiting at the Parc Floral de Vincennes, a fire destroyed his warehouse. He lost all his canvases.
Working tirelessly for clients and decorators to get back on his feet, and with an unusual level of physical strength, he maintained a fast-paced lifestyle.
Similar in this respect to Marcel BURTIN, friend of Édouard PIGNON and Pablo PICASSO, who earns a living by day and picks up a pencil or paintbrush in the evening, sleeping for just a few hours.
In 2007, he became friends with painter Marcel BURTIN.
In 2015, he met the sculptor ABRAM in Bordeaux.
His work, while abstract at first glance, is multi-layered, involving the sometimes legible confrontation of elements close to figuration, in conflict with a tubophile gesture that partially covers it.
