WHITE OPALINE BOX CHARLES X PERIOD Rectangular case in blown and cut opal crystal. The white opaline, known as "opaline savonneuse", has a "bamboo point" cut. Its chased gilt bronze frame is decorated with a frieze of flowers. The sides of the box are decorated with medallions or handles in the shape of lions' heads. The keyhole is surrounded by a wreath of flowers. The box stands on four winged lion paw feet. Size: 12 x 12.5 x 8 cm Condition of use and maintenance, cracks Sold by designation
