BIDJAR ROUND RUG (IRAN), LATE 20TH CENTURY Wool velvet on cotton foundation. A brick field supports rows of facing anthracite vegetal botehs (symbol of life), interspersed with polychrome floral scrolls forming compositions. The anthracite border with undulating vegetal branches, adorned with multicolored blossoming corollas, is flanked by four ivory and sky counter-borders with flowery garlands. Brick braid.
