INTERESTING LOUIS VUITTON "MAIL" TRUNK, CIRCA 1900 Stenciled monogrammed canvas mail trunk, metal locks, clasps and handles, leather corner protectors, nails with name, wood reinforcements on top and on the lengths. Central lock with inscription: "Bte S.C.D.G PATENT, 1 rue Scribe Paris Louis Vuitton London 149 New Bond Street, Made in France". Most nails with Louis Vuitton name. Metal side handles with inscription: "1 rue Scribe Paris Louis Vuitton London 149 New Bond Street, Made in France". Original light-colored cloth interior with label "1 rue Scribe Paris Louis Vuitton 149 New Bond ST London" and numbered in ink: "163843". Traces of old travel labels. Functional lock with two original keys inscribed "Paris, L.Vuitton, London" and numbered "019481". Size: 57 x 82 x 54 cm approx. Used condition, wear, traces inside, old restorations.
