SET OF THREE 1940 WALL SCONCES IN THE STYLE OF RAYMOND SUBES (1891–1970) Consisting of one three-arm wall sconce and one pair of two-arm wall sconces Made of wrought iron. 20th-century period. H: 60; W: 40 and 48; D: 21 and 29 cm. Raymond Subes, a French artist and decorator specializing in artistic ironwork, was born in Paris in 1891 and died in 1970. He was a former student of the École Boulle and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs.
